Now to pre-emptively answer how to leave the speakers on. Nope. Almost no TV does that.

I'm to the age now where I need to listen to the TV with headphones. I have a wireless transmitter that plugs in to the audio out. But, just bought a LG 55UH615A last weekend and there does not appear to be any audio out. Is there an inexpensive way to hook up my wireless transmitter (don't want to have to buy a $100 sound bar just to get an audio out plug)

Thanks! Similar models have a headphone jack in the back and mine appears to have one too. But, mine is labeled "svc only" and doesn't produce any sound. (just for others wondering).
Your solution solves my problem at a reasonable cost!
