And consider a reading of http://cdn.cnetcontent.com/03/bb/03bb7367-81d4-4851-9ed5-20141cf308d5.pdf
But there is no CNET review because it's a run just for the store and I think the non-sale price is 999 so not a bad deal. But will you live with it?
And consider the warranty. It's likely a paltry 1 year so will you be OK with the usual life span?

I have been looking into purchasing a TV on Black Friday this year, and this TV seemed intriguing. According to LG, it is only available at Best Buy and they have some sort of contracted agreement with the store to create certain models for just their store. It is 55 inches, LED, 120Hz, and available that day for $499. While this is a decent price from a reputable brand, I am nervous that it is not offered anywhere else. Normally, I would not consider Best Buy since they are typically unable to compete with Walmart, and online stores, but everything about this TV seems decent (other than the fact that it is not a Smart TV). Has anyone had any experience with these 'Drop-In' models? Does this appear to be a good deal, or should I stay away from Best Buy altogether?
