Question

LG 55EC9300 brightness issues

I just bought my TV last night and tried to watch The Dark Knight on blu-ray from my Xbox One and the brightness seemed so low that I could barely make out background details. I tried turning the OLED LIGHT all the way up and the brightness all the way up but neither seemed to really do much. It changed the brightness dramatically on the test screen but when I switch back to the HDMI input for my Xbox the blu-ray was still pretty dark.

I tried using the calibration settings found here but still didn't fix how dark everything was:

Is there a "save" function or "apply to all inputs" option that I need to be using? The screen almost seems to readjust to different settings when I change from the User Guide to regular TV or my Xbox.
