That's what I use now.

TCON boards are now in short supply because of how many folk rush to judgement it's that. Here's a reading about this:
https://www.shopjimmy.com/tvs/tv-t-con-boards Read the "SEE NOTE!" section.

There are many more posts about the now famous but not the right part TCON board and I've yet to find any technician diagnose over the internet and get it right every time. So most folk understand you rarely get a "replace this and it will work" reply.

While that increased the chance it is that board.

It could also be connections to/from the LCD. Before you change this, did you (gently!) and with the power removed remove and reinstall the connections?

Here's a video showing a solarization issue due to connections, not the boards or panel.

Cleaned connections.

I cleaned all connections and tried it again resulting in the same picture. I still only have the one vertical line down the center, otherwise it just appears very pixilated or almost opaque. I guess I’ll start with a t-con board as it’s cheaper than the other board.
