That's the common all too often discussed HDMI HDCP HANDSHAKE BLINK ISSUE.
If the usual power off, remove all cables, then pull the power out for 10 minutes then set it all up again doesn't cure it, then it's the fatal issue we all know about. I take no pleasure in these discussions as my feelings about HDCP is like they put flies in my soup and then tell me it's for flavor.

when i turn on my tv every 20-30 seconds the tv screen will go black for a second or two and then come back on. i don't lose the audio just video. i have everything hooked to a bose system, idk if that may have anything to do with it, maybe the output from the system isn't matching what the tv is putting out or something. can someone please give me a idea, the tv is only like a year and half old, i don't want to have to get rid of it already. thanks
