That price you got if it's LCD bruising is a bargain. Yes it stings but it's a deal if it's that issue.
I'll skip writing about LCD Brusing as it's on the web but it's expensive to fix. As to the lemon part I only see this once in a while. Just enough to know it does happen. There are thoughts it's partially due to reduced weight of the TVs so they can't take a hit from a tennis ball any more.
We bought this for a Christmas gift December 2014. A couple months back we started to get these black blotches on the picture. There are now many black blotches all of the screen, while we are watching tv. I have gone into the setting, mode, unplugged cable box to see if it was that, but nothing. The tv has not moved from it's original spot since we got it. LG wants to charge me $190 + tax, and whatever the charge to install it would be. I spent over $500 on this tv. I have a flat screen 42" Vizio from 2007 that still works and has a great picture. Has everything these days become disposable? Has anyone else had this problem? Is it just this TV that is a lemon? I don't have the money to replace the TV, nor do I have that kind of money to replace the part, that might be defective. I was hoping this TV would last at least 5 years. Any help would be much appreciated.
