I had the same issue but never looked into it and it wasn't 4k, but i'm interested though
I'm a french http://www.****.fr and i'm not too much into digging this but it was annoying at the wrong time.

I need a solution for this. I have a PC running Windows 10, an EVGA 3D graphics card (Nvidia chipset) connected to an LG 4K Ultra HD TV via HDMI1 port.
On cold boot, the system works fine. But if I have to reboot because of a system or software update, or if the monitor sleeps due to inactivity, the LG monitor always displays 'No Signal'. The only way to resolve this issue is by powering down the system abnormally and letting it 'rest' for a while before restarting.
Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for this? Is there some setting that needs to be configured to avoid this problem?
Please, if there is any information available I'd appreciate it.
