by Hobblenobble / March 21, 2015 7:35 PM PDT

Hi guys, newbie here. I am struggling to set up the hand motion control on my lg 49ub850v. I have the AN-VC500 camera attached and working. Motion control is enabled. If I had hair I would have pulled it out by now!!!! Thank you.

Hello Hobblenobble.
Sorry to read you're having issues getting your magic remote to do the gesture functions. We'll assume that you registered the remote with your TV, but if that did not work after one or two attempts, you may need to reset the remote by holding down the "Home" button and the "Back" simultaneously for about 5 seconds. You will see the LED blink to confirm that it has reset. Register the unit again by simply pointing it at the TV and then press the "Okay" button (i.e. the jog wheel) For gesture functions, remember that you have to hold down the "Okay" button while either making a sideways motion which will take you to the previous channel or making a "V" pattern while holding down the "okay" button which will make a list of programs and content you recently watched. If you still need any assistance with that, please contact LG UK : 0344 847 5454 IE : 01 686 9454 . They are open Mon - Sat from 9 am - 6 pm, closed on Sunday and on Bank holidays. Your TV is not a US model so for support, you'll need to contact the region in which the TV was released.^IV

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
