lg 42lf66 HDMI & APPLE TV FAULT??

Dec 31, 2013 10:17PM PST

My LG Tv lg 42lf66 Has suddenly started Loosing the signal from my apple tv.
I Also has SKY connected and this works on both HDMI inputs.
I have 2 ATV's and neither will work any more on the TV.
Both ATV's work on other TV's.
I have tried new cables as well but no joy.
Its got to be a TV issue but why SKY would work and not ATV?
Has any got any suggestions before i have to buy a new TV!

(NT) In this case I'd get the Apple TV box swapped.

Hi there,
why would you suggest that? The ATV works on all tv's and it works on my new tv now also.
And my DVD player does exactly the same thing.
The main query really is why would Sky & Virgin HDMI connections work perfectly fine yet 2 other items ATV & DVD don't?

In that case, the TV looks to be quite a recent purchase so I'd be back at the store to see what I could exchange it for. I've seen such troubles and the usual is finger pointing. Save yourself while you can.
