Question

LG 42LE5400

Dec 14, 2013 7:27AM PST

Whenever I try to use my tv to play any HDMI inputs (360, ps3 etc) after about 2 minutes the TV starts to go crazy. By crazy I mean the volume starts going up down, input starts changing it was if a 5 year old was mashing the buttons on the remote. I tried removing the batteries from the remote and it continues to happen. The problem does not happen when using 5 cable component or aux from a tv, only on HDMI. The obvious answer would be to call LG and get a tech out here which seems pricey. Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions of things I could try at home.

Sorry but I'd look for any way to turn off any HDMI network controls. The names are all over the map.
