Just a few days ago I was helping someone with HDMI and came across an odd statement in the laptop's manual about the HDMI must be connected BEFORE power up of the laptop. Go figure.

I'm completely stumped! Just bought this monitor yesterday, got it home, and right out of the gate it gave me display issues. I'll try to explain as best I can. I was using HdMI, and the screen would go almost completely white. I could barely see anything on my desktop. Somehow, I found my way to the display options and re-calibrated. It went back to normal. I thought it was just a glitch, until I threw a Blu-Ray movie in to watch. Now, while the Blu-Ray playing software was fine. The movie played with no issues whatsoever, just like I would want. But I noticed right after the Blu-Ray player opened up that everything else went back to white. I closed out the movie and the screen was back to all white, barely able to make anything on the screen out. I went through all the options that I could think of. I turned everything off, unplugged everything, waited a while, and plugged it all back in. I tried a different HdMI cable. None of this worked. Just for the hell of it, I unplugged the HdMI and tried the D-Sub input, and the problem is completely gone. Unfortunately, in order to play Blu-Ray movies, I need the digital input. They won't play with the D-Sub input. So, D-Sub works perfectly, but HdMI does not. Anyone know what the problem might be?
