Question

LG 24MP67HQ IPS LED PC monitor

Feb 9, 2016 4:51PM PST

Just bought this monitor at bestbuy. Plugged it right up with my xbox one console. My question is, do I need to do any calibration for the colors? This is my first IPS monitor, ever, period so I'm not sure if the colors right out of the box are the best they can be?

If theres anything specific I have to do, can anybody please update me on it?

Most folk don't.

The only time I see calibration is for folk the edit photos and movies. Some like the calibrate a TV to a room but most use the display as-is. Best is subjective so any numbers you find would be up to you to call if better or worse.

Everytime I get a new display or laptop, I notice it's slightly different.
