Clarification Request
Further X1150 Printer Query's

In reply to: lexmark x1150 all in one printer

Thank you anyone who posted a answer to the X1150 Printer problem. After trying as suggested running the Scanning/Copier alone and showing that the problem is with the scanner and not the PC. I really want to know how to remove the Scanner/Copier from the printer. There are two plastic hinges at the rear of the printer which I cannot disconnect I do not want to damage. Has any one a answer to this query.

regards,
mike3

Re: printer

Scanning and copying usually can be done without the PC. So if that doesn't work, it's not a PC issue, but a printer issue.

In some review (written on 23/01/2005) I read: “I purchased the Lexmark X1150 for $99 at Bestbuy (approximately August 2004)."
After 13 years of use, it's time to replace it buy another printer. I'd say it did exceptionally well.

In reply to: Re: printer

Thanks for some suggested answers to my query scanner not working on my Lexmark x1150. Please there any one who can help me in my quest for the way to release the scanner/copier away from the main printer body. Whilst I recognise that there will be little chance of aquring spares, it is for myself and my enquiring son to gain good experience in this ever changing world. Please help if you can.... kindest regards.

The lesson is about service today.

No company I know touches such things. It's a lesson about economics. These on ebay are pretty cheap so if you want to learn more which will be very frustrating, get others on Ebay and put together one from good parts or just get one that works.
