Lexmark wireless printer

Oct 21, 2008 10:41AM PDT

Windows XP version 2002 SP2 home edition
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1800+
1.53Ghz, 512 mb of RAM

Just purchased a Lexmark x4690 wireless printer but I'm having trouble setting up a wireless network w/o a USB flash drive.

I realize that the desktop may not have wireless capabilities. The only adapters I have under Network Adapters (in Device Manager) is ADMtek AN983 10/100 Mbps PCI Adapter.

Do I need to purchase a wireless router?
