I got a LDP-600 for Christmas and loved it. One thing I didn't like was that the sound quality was not great-all the songs sounded like they were recorded from an LP-there was scratchy static throughout each song. One other thing I didn't like about it was that it stopped working after 2 weeks! I couldn't even turn it off.
I had tried tech support for a previous issue: songs that I downloaded were not playing-I could see them but they wouldn't play. (It was because Napster was incompatible but I didn't know that at the time.) Tech support was no help-I did an online chat with them and they were just cutting and pasting from the manual. I finally gave up and was able to figure out the incompatibility problem myself. I gave up and returned it to the store it was purchased from.
I really wish it would have worked because I can't seem to find any other MP3 player like it.
Can anyone give me a personal review of the LEXAR MP3 PLAYER LDP-600?? I am thinking of a good mp3 player w/ room for expansion w/ SD card. What other choises that I might have without buying a Large HD MP3 Player?? ODIE
