The American education system is warped, AND
Jun 3, 2019 4:31AM PDT

The people from the "warped education system" are part of HIS base?

TRUMP'S APPEAL TO THE COGNITIVELY CHALLENGED

During the 2016 election, Donald Trump famously proclaimed "I love the poorly educated!" Well, if "poorly educated" is a euphemism for "cognitively challenged," new research finds they loved him right back.

AND

HE claims HE didn't say Markle was "nasty"....

But there is audio of HIM saying HE didn't KNOW she was "nasty", and now HE KNOWS she is "nasty"?

HE hasn't said that she isn't "nasty", and I doubt those words will cross HIS lips.

Evidently, as usual,

you didn't pick up on the fact that the 'warped educational system' was built by the Dems as a key feature of their revisionist history lessons....Bennett specifically mentions that, especially for immigrants, if you don't KNOW our history, you won't build a LOYALTY to your 'new' country and assimilate like immigrants USED to do.

Fortunately, many of those poorly educated are NOW making the effort to BECOME educated on issues they WEREN'T taught in school anymore....THOSE are the ones that are making up Trump's base.

As for your totally unrelated topic to this thread....he specifically stated that he didn't know she had two years ago made a nasty remark about him. Typical leftist spin of the facts because he NEVER, even in the audio, call HER nasty.

AND the same system was in place when DJT was getting HIS education/book learning, 60 years ago?

Sure they are......keep the faith

The 17 books that could fix Donald Trump's ignorance of US history

“[Mr Trump] is symptomatic of a problem we have in general when Americans think about history,” she said.

“When he jumps around from one period to the next, he reminds me of an undergraduate student who has not got the ability to think historically and know that there are different periods.”

HE has been really busy and hasn't opened a book in 50 years?

HE hasn't even got time/the ability to read reports that are put on HIS desk...let alone the ambition to travel back in time to his high school days.

I get your point, Toni.

But I see and hear things that tell me much of this self-education comes from soundbites and questionable YouTube channels. It doesn't match what I learned in better days for the education system.
Much more fragmentation.

I wonder if Queen Elizabeth II heard this Levin interview

Queen Elizabeth gives Trump a first edition of Churchill's 'The Second World War'

While Trump has expressed admiration for Churchill, he has in the past indicated that he does not read much because he does not have time.

HE's also busy NOT reading government reports...but he has time to tweet ....AND watch FOX News.

AND the book is too valuable to be opened OR read.......yet another book HE will never read....

IMO that was a foolish gift, for this reason alone.

(There may be others.)
The most valuable part of a book is the text, not the cover or title pages. 'Can't be opened or read'? Foolishness. If I wanted that one I could get it secondhand for a couple bucks, many printed. And a later edition would be more valuable reading and less $ (or &euroWink.
