Let the summer begin!

May 27, 2006 9:47PM PDT

The temperature here's right at 70 degrees F. The sky's clear as the proverbial bell, although there's the haze that says that it'll be humid today. The high is supposed to be in the mid-80's.

It's enough to make me forget the monsoon we had in the first half of the month; so, to the accompaniment of mowers, barbeque grills and racecars, here comes Summer 2006 - ready or not!

Sheep!

Consider: Wool for those cold high desert nights, abundant lamb for gourmet meals and a properly rustic soundtrack to your days and nights.

I'm sure she'll love it.... Devil

Going back to finish MY mowing,

Paul

Now, exactly who the hell...

...do I have you confused with? Mac, maybe? Ed? Somebody please correct me!

But, as a native New Englander, I do know that sheep do OK in New Hampshire. You still, of course, need to convince the wife (and the neighbors?) that it's a good idea...

With great embarrassment,
Paul

... and no AC put in the window yet although the hubby could certainly use it with his asthma/allergies kicking in full bore.
