Currently there are no "set in stone" requirements for Leopard but you can guarantee that any of the "newer" macs will run it comfortably.

I'm looking forward to running it on my G4 AGP Graphics machine!

Leopard on a year old mac

when you say Leopard will be able to run on the new macs, are you including my year old imac g5 that does not have Intel chips in it?

Yes, I am.

I'm also hoping that it will run on my G4 tower and my G4 Cube.

I think that the cutoff this time may be the G3 processor, but what do I know?

A few OS's ago, the requirement was a built-in Firewire port. Built-in USB was also a filter in one of the early versions of OS X.

I suspect that your G5 will be safe for a few more OS X versions. The OS has both Intel and PPC instructions inside it and the installer is smart enough to know which set of instructions are needed for your particular machine. You do NOT get both sets of instructions. Other than that, there is no difference between the two version, externally.
