Lenovo Yoga 730 or Dell XPS 15 2 in 1?

At the moment, for 4 GB graphics and an 8th gen i7 processor:
-Dell costs about $1400 for 256GB SSD with stylus
-Lenovo costs under $1000 for 256GB with stylus and $1200 for 512GB with sylus.
Which one should I go with? The $400 difference has me confused.
I will be using it in undergraduate college for note taking and engineering software like CAD and MATLAB.
