Lenovo Yoga 2 Projector

Dec 4, 2014 3:47AM PST

Has anyone got their hands on the Lenovo Yoga 2 Tablet with the projector in the side? I want somethign to project photos I have onto a canvas so I can draw outlines for sketches I plan on making.

It seems kind of expensive, but if the projector is halfway decent it might be worth it...

It's a pico 720p projector.

Frankly for the money, get a projector for your PC.

Recommendations?
Dec 4, 2014 7:35AM PST

I've been looking on Amazon for options. From what I can tell there are a few companies which seem to have "pico projectors" in the price range I am looking for, ($200-400) AAXA Technologies, Phillips, Optoma, and ASUS are at the top of the list when I serach.

Does anyone have a recommendation for that price range? Really, I just need something cheap, portable and reliable.

In regards to your question about the projector on the Lenovo tablet, here is a blog which specializes in small projectors.

The link I posted has some footage of the projector tablet in action. It ought to answer some of your questions.

As you can see, it's a poor to worse fit for their needs.

Thanks for helping them avoid a pico projector.
