How to disable charging while laptop is pluged in, and use power directly from the charger (smth. like bypass battery)?

Well, there are some folk that remember the bad old days of NiCad batteries and such. Let's nip this in the bud. The answer is no and there is NO REASON to do this on current models.

The new rule is ABC. Always Be Charging. The new circuits do not wear out a battery. We have 4 year old laptops that sat on the desk plugged in and most are able to get well over 50% (most are close to 90%) capacity.

It's a new world. Embrace it. ABC!
