Question

Left Right Audio Random Switch

May 13, 2020 10:25PM PDT

I use a USB connection for my audio. USB headphones ect. Randomly my left and right stereo channels switch mysteriously for no reason. So while I’m playing a game, suddenly my right audio will go through my left headphone. I tried switching headphones, same issue. When this happens, I can hear what seems to be a very brief “short” in the headphones like a static shock.

Or there is some driver bug.

I don't see make, model or mention of driver install, OS in use and if it did this when new so I'm left with only my thoughts. Tell more.

Use drivers that the makers issue and advise.

Also, the make, model of the USB headphone eludes me so I can't research that item to see if it's a known issue with said model.
