Left over BYTEEVER Virus

Feb 4, 2004 3:16AM PST

I know that I didn't exactly spell the virus correct however I found some remnants using HouseCall. There was 6 files infected left over from some time ago in C:\windows application data\SUN. I have the latest JAVA VM 3810. House call said the files could not be cleaned, so I deleted them. I also found the VM build 3809 which I deleted so as I said I have the latest version. I wanted to re-download the latest again which is in the MS03-011 download, just in case I might have deleted some needed files. The problem is I can't find the download for Win ME. Do I really need to do this to be safe? If so where can I find the download? It won't come up in critical updates since it shows to be installed.

One More Question
Feb 4, 2004 4:23AM PST

I believe I installed this at an earlier date. I went into the Jview files and dleted all of them. I am trying to install it from a download but it gets to 8% and says please wait. Should I have installed it from the web?, I believe I did it that way before. Also, as I recall, I installed it without Net Beans. Would you have a link to that install? Thanks for your help.
