LEE: TOS Question

TOS on Linking:

"The only type of linking (besides porn and spam, of course) that will not be allowed on our site is when members solicit people to leave our site and join a competing service."

I asked you for permission to invite the members here to discuss politics and religion elsewhere and you said it would not be a problem since these topics would no longer be considered to be competing in light of the fact that they are now prohibited here. All discussions here keep getting deleted though. I'm not even trying to get anyone to leave here, just inviting them to an area to discuss what has been specifically disallowed here. Is this a TOS violation? If not can you ask whichever mod is responsible why they keep interpretting the TOS this way and deleting the posts?

my take on it

In reply to: LEE: TOS Question

A: post a "if you want to discuss politics/religion, you can do it here" post with a link

B: email individual members and send them an invitation

C: i didn't know that you had permission from Lee Koo to post a link

D: any thread which is taken too far south by snide comments or 'zingers' will, in all probability, be deleted due to the fact that individual posts can no longer be deleted (which i suppose brings me back to A:... post your link and then ask a mod to lock the thread to prevent an outbreak of CHappy

thank you

Clay I will have to apologize ... the SE mods were not aware

In reply to: LEE: TOS Question

of this converstation that we had offline about allowing your invitation post to be allowed. The mods were just doing their jobs and following the forum policies to remove that type of post. It is my fault for not communicating this to them.

Please repost your post here in this thread.

Thanks!
