LED TV Lip Sync Issue

Jun 27, 2010 4:27PM PDT

Hi,

I've recently purchased an Onkyo Tx-sr707 Amp and a slim PS3 for use as a Blu-ray player. I had an existing 6 series Samsung LED TV.

I have a HDMI cable connecting the PS3 to the amp, then another HDMI cable connecting the amp to the TV.

The lip sync issue is not consistent, some blu-rays & DVDs work fine while other are out by about 250ms. However the discs that are out of sync are consistently out.

I've connected the PS3 directly to the TV via HDMI and there is no lip sync issue at all. I figued this meant it was an amp problem.

But when I then connected a smaller 19inch Samsung LCD to the amp via HDMI there were no lip sync issues.

So if it works fine on a smaller TV, but there is an issue with the larger TV... then I figure there must be something wrong with the TV???

Any help or any ideas would be appreciated.
