LED Flashlighting Fix!!!

Nov 27, 2012 2:22AM PST

Hello, I have posted several times here and other forums trying to remedy my terrible flashlighting problem on my 60in Samsung LED with no luck. I 1st had a UN60D7000 which was replaced under warranty by Samsung after several attempts to fix a failed firmware flash and now have the UN60ES7005 and although I was happy to recieve the newer set, it had much more flashlighting. Several nights watching tv shows and movies with dark scenes and the lights dim the flashlightin just became so obvious that I was ready to put the damn tv on Craiglist but I walked up to it and grabbed a corner where the light effect was most obvious and pulled it towards me and just like that the light was gone! I then tried another corner and it was gone again! I then realized that I was on to something, keep in mind that when I release the corner that the problem returned so what would work??? Later in the week I was working in the garage and found some appliance feet (basicly long bolts with pads that are adjustable to level your range, dryer, etc...) I placed one behind each corner of the tv and adjusted them until there was enough pressure to keep them in place without falling out and keeping the desired angle. My flashlighting is gone, not better, gone! I, like most who have put out some hard earned cash to buy a nice tv believe that we shouldn't have to deal with this at all but until they can produce a flat screen tv with a panel that wont distort or bend, it is what it is. I hope this info helps you the way it helped me so you can watch an entire show or move on your nice tv without staring at the corners! Thanks!
