After I moved the cable from the laptop to test if it was good, I had to power off the cable modem, router and then power up the cable modem, wait till the lights turned on and then power up the router.
I can only connect to the wireless network. I tried to connect it to a LAN, but it keep coming up with an error message telling me that it is disconnected. I can plug the cable into my PC and it is working fine. I am not sure if it is a setting on my router or my TV.
