a way to ensure only "good people" get guns....AND "good people" are good shots....
the basic information is correct. Some of the details may change.
BTW what you hope for is largely the province of fiction, like Person of Interest, say.
bad decision to cancel it......keep waiting for the 'reality' crap finally bites the dust.
acting and storyline. I liked Miss Shaw. Her solution to any problem was - MORE SHOOTING. The scripts made some humorous references to it.
It seemed to me that all the participants, both computer systems, were looking for a quiet, peaceful, crime-free utopia. We (almost all) are. Some of us hope in the latest tech, others look to an ancient Book.
She is very talented, so she justifies hiring her beyond her obvious, um, physical presence. She also has a stable married life, and three children. I wish her well. (She was the female lead on Life, with the actor my wife and I insist on calling Soames Forsyte.
)
She played on another short lived series I liked called "Fairly Legal"....and was happy to see her show up on POI as a hard core bada$$ who gave John a run for his money, drove Finch nuts, and reluctantly fell in love with another bada$$ woman, Root. I started watching POI because of John (James Caviezel) (I started following him after watching him play Jesus in "Passion of Christ" and do searches for his appearances so I can record and watch them when Directv airs them). Then all of a sudden Amy Acker (Root) showed up and I was thrilled because she's another one I follow devotedly after the long running series Angel where she actually played two roles in that show and did the same searches for her appearances.
The show is in reruns and I keep hoping for another really excellently written and casting to show up and peak my 'interest'. In the meantime I keep doing my searches and have found that right now, the closest I've come to having the same feelings towards a tv show that I had with POI is The Blacklist. (I'm a massive James Spader fan and recorded and watched the entire Boston Legal series reruns to remind me of his wide scope of talent, and immediately recognized his voice as he 'spoke' for Ultron in the latest Avengers move....a huge hit).
struggling against her weaknesses. Shaw had none. Did both parts well.
