Learning CD for Adobe Photoshop Elements will not open

Jul 10, 2004 3:08AM PDT

I recently purchased the learning CD for Adobe Photoshop Elements, however it will not open. I'm running Windows XP Pro, IE5+ and I also have Mozilla. I have tried refreshing the page numerous times but all I get is the message "Thank you for using Quickskill". Could this be a damaged CD? If so, does anybody know how to resolve this with Help.com?
thanks

Very odd.

XP came with IE 6.0 and not Internet Explorer 5+.

I'll take that this is a typographical error.

You may find that like many other titles, you must be on an Administrator capable account for it to install and run.

Sadly, not enough clues and it's not a widely noted failure.

Bob,
Thanks for the reply. I must have IE6 because I purchased XP Professional. I don't know what an admin account is. could it be possible that the CD is faulty?

Ask about the admin account and accounts in general in...

The XP Forum.

To see if the CD is defective, try it in another PC?

Bob,
Great idea- I'll bring it into work tomorrow and have someone with a PC try it (I have a Mac at work).

thanks, Kevin
