Google is your friend. Just fire it up and let it rip(!)
I'm an old school girl with a basic phone - which, until I started my own business was all I needed. I used it to make phone calls - period! I have a camera if I wanted to take a picture . . . I have a laptop if I needed the internet. Well . . Now I'm on the road alot and need to access my email for business (gmail) w/o pulling out my laptop, and would like a 'mini computer' that's not a tablet (too big/cumbersome) for basic stuff - spreadsheet app? text/notes app? will probably want mapping/gps ability to steer clear of traffic in so. cal. and find a starbucks when I need to.
What are my options for doing this? Do I have to pay for a smartphone w/ data charges from ATT. Can I use the existing SIM card my in current phone and swap it to a new smartphone w/o a dataplan. what is an 'unlocked' phone? what do PDAs do? (no, I'm not kidding). If I don't have a data plan w/ ATT, how would I get internet access?
This is alot - I know. Links to websites that can explain all this would be greatly appreciated! I'm sooooooo behind the curve here! Almost feel like I need to enroll in some class somewhere to get up to speed.
thanks soooo much for your help!
