le46b650t2, concern connecting wirless or DLNA.

I have recently purchased a samsung le46b650t2. I have also purchased the wirless USB dongle that is recommended in the TVs manual. When I have tried to set up the wirless connection it will not allow me to input my security key (Or wep number) is it only displays the letters A to G on the security key input screan.(my security key has the letter x in for example)The TV does diplay the name of the router on the screan after searching for wireless devices. I have also tried to set the router up manaully by inputting the IP address, gateway address etc etc. When I test the connection it appears to fail at the gateway ping. I have a BT voyasger 2091 router and have checked that it is compatible with this system.

There are probably people who can run circles around me when it comes to networking, but I believe WEP is 0-9, A-G. Are you connecting with WPA encryption, perhaps?

What is the model number on the dongle?

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have purchased a WIS09ABGN dongle as recommended in my user manaul. I think you might be right about the WEP comment but I havent a clue how to get around this issue. I have spoken at great length to the phone support team but they were little help. I have had some progress, I connected via cable yesterday and it worked. I then tried to reconnect via wireless and again no joy. HELP!!!
