Since this isn't a US model, I can't really speak on that. What I can say is that here, we do change the bezels out for this issue. I'm not sure what happened, or why... but normally if service determines that it wasn't the fault of the customer, it will be covered under the 1-year warranty.
Check with your local Samsung service center and definitely make an inquiry.

I've this samsung 37" 6 serie which is a really great LCD-TV. But I have this problem with the bezel which is really an eyesore. The problem is that at the bottom of the LCD-screen the bezel looks like the film which colors the bezel came off. It look like it's burned. To illustrate it better I made a photo of it, I've put it on picasa:

I was wondering if this is happens more often, I did some research and I found someone with the similar problem on this forum:

So I was wondering if this falls under the warrenty, because it's not inflicted by. And I can't see how this happend by force. So should I contact the place where I bought it or should I call samsung?
