LE26R86BC DVI->HDMI problem

by Pottumaa / January 13, 2010 10:45 PM PST

I have connected DVI->HDMI cable from my computer to the TV and 3,5mm->RCA audio cable to audio slots.

For some reason i can't get sound from TV. I can't find options from TV so it would use RCA input instead of HDMI for audio.

HDMI cable is connected to HDMI2 slot and RCA cables to DVI IN slot.
I tested RCA wires at AV channels so they do work so i can't figure what is the problem.

Hopefully someone can help me.

Try changing the name of your HDMI-2 input from "----" to "PC". That may enable the audio ports.

Keep me posted.

Thanks for quick reply.

I changed HDMI-2 input from "----" to PC, but that didn't do the trick.

It should work, but i just can't figure why it doesn't give sound. Could there be some malfunction in TV or am i just doing something wrong.
