Beyond boards there are cables and of course the LCD panel. Keep in mind I have yet to see anyone discuss repair of TVs in this forum beyond "arrange for service". Some folk miss that (they are new to this forum) and if they want to begin a career in TV repair that's fine, but there is no user serviceable boards in this set.
Try AVSFORUM as folk seem to dive into boards there.
I have a 40inch LCD Samsung flat panel TV about 3.5 years old that has started to display blotchy and negative like images. Model number of unit on the following web page. Here is an example: http://www.wellsmaineusa.com/samsungtvproblem/.
This problem occurs regardless of device used, e.g. on TV alone, on DVD player, on computer input, and we do not use a cable box. So, I guess its a board in the TV itself.
Model # LN40A550P3FXZAVERSION: CK10
Any help on a diagnosis of the problem.
