First off I dont want to be mean but why would you want hi-def in your bedroom in the first place. Hi-Def is a movie experience and I found the bigger the picture the better I just bought a Sony kp-65wv600 and I set 8 feet from the t.v. and now I want to upgrade to a 6x8 foot projector and screen . also you have to feed your t.v. with a hi-def- signal satellite, or cable and use the proper hi-def interface cables If I were you I would buy a cheap anolog tv. for your bedroom then set up your living room for a mind blowing theater experience also I would advise you to shop at a high end vidio store in the end you will save money , your frys, circut type of stores no nothing about hi-def so you wind up with a system that you wont be happy with good luck please reply stewart norrie
Hi , I hear so much about the big screens and HDTV, EDTV etc and that is fine for the centerpiece system.
I have a smallish bedroom with the tv about 8 feet away at foot of bed. I am intrigued by the size and weight of the 20" EDTV 4:3 LCD tvs out there but confused as well. Costco.com has a 20" Envision for about $450.00 with shipping but is this a quality set? I don't know. The Panasonic 20" and some Sharp 20" look nice but are expensive and I have been warned in another discussion to stay away from unauthorized EBAY sellers(many make false claims). Who wants to pay $400-$600 for a demo of used or no-warranty 20" tv? Lots of people it seems, check out the crazy bidding!
Bottom line is does anyone know of a 20" tv with good picture, sound and features that is not too expensive? CRT or LCD? I have come close to a Toshiba 20" LCD until I read user reviews and a Sony CRT but it uses 140watts! Appreciate any help with what has turned into a dilema! peter
