Try that part first.
Just bought a nice used Gateway FPD1830 LCD Monitor. Known problem is screen is blank when turned on (On light does go on). The plan is to replace the backlight, but when I learned there are 6 CCFL's the thought turned to a possible bad inverter instead? I would figure, since the screen is blank, how could all 6 tubes be out at once? This all is assuming all other parts are functioning. Thanks!
