lcd display not supported

weel i guess i made a mistake cuz i installs a new lcd display on my mac minni and it works fine, but, when i change the resolution, my monitor goes black and a mssage appears saying mode not supported, so i need to put back my old monitor and wait until it start again, how could i fix it ...

2. What resolution and refresh rate did you attempt?
