Try using an old memory card that has pictures from previous time (weeks-years ago).
See if you can see the pictures.

See if you can display any menu.

If neither work, then you have the symptoms of a LCD driver interface problem.
That requires maintenance repair.

Another subject:

There was a safety recall on that model camera several years ago.
Not all cameras were affected.
I just looked for it on the Canon website and can not find it now.
Most likely if your camera had the problem, you would have encountered it years ago.
Symptom was overheating battery.
If you do call Canon Service, ask them about the safety recall.
