lcd calibration training

by prfsr / February 18, 2008 10:00 AM PST

Mike G at bestfreetraining.net suggested it might be possible to find out through a class at CNET about whether the government is offering some kind of free training to encourage LCD calibration.
I would maybe like to start my own business offering this service.
Can you offer any advice?
Thanks,
Kevin

Given I can use the dvd about such and it looks good to me, isn't this a DIY job?

Hi Iffy,
At Best Buy they charge $300 for a technician to come to your home and calibrate your lcd. A sales person there told me that calibrating involves more than picture quality ...that electricity use can be cut in half. Is that part of it 'DIY' as well?

Thanks,
prfsr

Will they refund this if you don't care for the improvement?
