LCD 100HZ european models how pulldown?

Jan 30, 2009 5:13AM PST

In Europe there are 100hz lcd and not 120hz, I'd like to know how these models pulldown an incoming signal like 24hz or 60hz.
They can make a 5:5 (24hzx5) and switch from 100hz to 120hz? Or they just make a 4:4 (24hzx4), reaching 96hz? Or they just can't obtain a refresh that is a direct multiple of input refresh?
I hope if someone can clarify my doubt, what I know is that motion plus is a totally different software process that insert fake frames between two real frames but I don't like this interpolation and I just wanna know if pulldown on a 100hz panel is a "pure" pulldown without judder:

I'm working to get a contact in the U.K. who can explain some of these differences. Until then, I just don't know.

The Customer Service number in the UK is 0845-SAMSUNG, and since they're in that region, they can probably explain it much better than I can at this point.
