Lavasoft Update (Windows XP)

Jun 13, 2007 11:52PM PDT

I just installed the new Lavasoft Adware the other day. Now when I run a scan, it doesn't find anything. The old version used to find 2 or 3 tracking cookies every week. Have I installed the update incorrectly?

I've just installed it myself and find no problems with it,though scanning is long, probably being more thorough.

I don't worry about cookies.

There's an discussion regarding the new version V&S FORUM

Check The Settings..

It is possible to disable the option to scan for cookies. Open Ad-Aware 2007, then click on the "Settings" button, then the "Scanning" tab.. Make sure there is a CHECK mark next to the "Tracking Cookies" option.

Hope this helps.
