launch problem with BDB-3600 (after firmware update?)

by willy.k / September 17, 2009 5:47 AM PDT

I installed the new firmware update successfully some days ago. Today I have problems after launching the blue-ray player. The screen of my samsung lcd-tv LE 32B651 is only flickering (connected via hdmi). Do there other people have the same problem? Thank you very much for your help!

willy.k,

Did the flickering happen immediately after the update, or days later?

launch problem with BD-P3600
by willy.k / September 18, 2009 5:43 AM PDT

It happened some days later.
After launch of the bd-player, there is a "LOAD" message on the display which doesn't disappears. This message appears although there is no disk in the player.

I have the EXACT problem
by jsmit24 / September 29, 2009 4:51 AM PDT

After the firmware updates, specifically, after the last TWO firmware updates, I have a myriad of problems.

1) The flicker you mentioned. It usually occurs after I watch one streaming movie and IMMEDIATELY upon trying to watch a second.

2) If I pause a streaming movie... say after watching it for 45 minutes, and hit "resume watching", the player no longer remembers where it was... it'll usually be at 2-3 minutes, and I have to fast-forward to get back to where I was. This happens EVERY time.

3) Pandora now plays 11 or 12 songs, then quits. I have to turn the player COMPLETELY OFF and come back into Pandora when this occurs.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
