Muslims find love online.

In Naseeb, they've found a culturally sensitive middle ground that lies somewhere between dating, which experts say is discouraged by Islamic law, and the old-fashioned practice of marriages brokered by parents.

You want to know the truth as I see it, Dave? This is precisely the kind of thing that the Islamofascists can never accept or even tolerate, since to do so is to cede their stranglehold over Islam and to allow it to do what every other religious tradition has been forced to do - adapt to the modern world. Not all faiths have done equally well at this adaptation, but Islam's answer to this has been to attempt to force the world to fit its worldview - a hopeless task, IMO.

It's not just Islam -- India is having the same problems in terms of women's rights and arranged marriages, and the religion there is Hinduism.

gave their blessings. What could be a happier ending? I think it's wonderful this alternative to arranged marriages is available for Muslim women.
