Question

Lastpass vs KeePass on Android

Jul 6, 2012 2:03AM PDT

Hey everybody,

I want to make my browsing experience easier on my Android phone. I had intended on installing the LastPass Add-on to Dolphin browser on my phone but then I found out they make you pay $12 a year for it. I looked into KeePass and I think the app for android is completely free. Is it worth the switch from LastPass to KeePass on my computer so that both my android phone and computer can have smooth and secure browsing? Do you have another alternative?

KeePass Good Choice

KeePass is a good choice. One thing to keep in mind.
There are two official versions of KeePass with different database file extensions.
Classic Edition 1x uses, *.kbd files
Professional Edition 2x uses, *.kbdx files

When choosing other port or packages make sure they all read the same format.
Both are good, 2x is better.

How do the download packages differ from what is offered in the Google Play store?

Seems to be the same as any Android.

Go get the .APT and put that on your droid and use your file manager apt to find and click on it.
