General discussion

Last post column could use a name too

While the new look is ... er... ah... new (not sure if I like it, yet) but I don't really see too much has changed functionally.

That is good, and bad.
I was sort of expecting improvements.
Maybe all the improvements are 'hidden' from the user, that the improvements make it easier for you maintainers. I hope so, I would hate to see the work you must have put into all this, just to be cosmetic.

For a suggestion, I would like to see the addition of the name of the user who made the last post, per each discussion.

That is, currently, when you are scanning down a list of various discussions there are 4 columns:
Title, Created, Last Post, and (total of) Posts

The Title column has a 2nd line which shows who started the discussion.

What I would like to see is a similar 2nd line in the Last Post column, to show who made that last entry. It would help in letting me know if I want to click in, and read that discussion (it might be a name that hold special interest to me).
