Laser printer whats causing this?

Nov 27, 2009 9:04AM PST

I noticed my laser printer is printing kinda with lines in it.
Its a refilled toner cartridge but the black isn't solid like it should be it has some light streaks in it.

Whats causing this bad cartridge?

You said it's a refilled cartridge

Go get a new one made by the printer's manufacturer and let us see if the results are the same. If so, we start looking at the printer...or damage done to it.

Ask the company who did the refilling what they did wrong. And, during this conversation, don't forget to ask your money back.

If nothing changed in the laserjet ptr. then the refill is bad. It saw better days, thus return it or start the process. The mylar film on the toner cart. is worn out or if you hit the toner brightness adj. be sure to check it. IMHO, its a bad refill.
