won't allow it. I have a system with 2 160 gig drives. I can't wait till they have the 160 gig solid state flash drives.
I have an HP dv9208nr notebook with a 120GB HD running Vista Home Premium. This notebook has two HD bays. I would like to move the 120GB to drive bay #2, use it as a data drive then add a larger HD (perferably a 250GB) as the primary/boot drive. Reason being is that I would like to create a dual boot environment on the primary (C:) drive with XP Pro and Vista. I also need the extra space for a specialized astronomy program I use.
I spoke to HP tech support and they "think" that I can't add a drive that big, but I believe they are wrong. As long as the BIOS supports it, it shouldn't be a problem.
Can anyone confirm if this is possible?
