And try another model. But wait, I don't use repeaters as they don't always work.
I use things like this WiFi powerline system. PICTURE follows:

I bet you want folk to get your repeater to work but my experience is they either do or don't. When they don't I return them and go with my usual solution.
My primary WAP is located in my garage. I had a few WiFi dead spots in the house so I recently installed a D-Link DAP-1320 repeater. All of my devices (Nook, iPad, iPhone, Kindle) can get internet access via the D-Link. The problem I am having is with my two lap tops. Both units can connect to the D-Link but they cannot get internet access. I suspect this has something to do with Microsoft. Both computers are HP and running Windows 7. I have searched the net and cannot find any information. D-Link support said to reboot the computers after installing the D-Link unit. Duh! like that was not the first thing I did. My internet service is AT&T U-verse and the WAP is a 2Wire/Pace unit. Any advice would be appreciated.
