It sounds as if it died. You tried the reset I use so try a new CMOS battery since many models will just sit there doing nothing if it's too low. That's under a 5 dollar part and worth the gamble.
After you put in the new CMOS battery, try the reset again and if nothing shows on the screen get repair estimates.
If you didn't backup your files, just have or remove the HDD and put it into some USB case for file retrieval on your new laptop or desktop.
Hello, my laptop is Dell Inspiron 7520
Everything was ok until today, then I clicked on "Hibernate" instead of "Power off". I turned on the computer an hour later, everything's was alright when the screen showed up I did 'change account' and then clicked on power off button.
Now, when I try to turn on the computer it won't turn on, there's a black screen staying or lightly brighter black but nothing shows up. On the other hand I do see on my keyboard that the lights are turned on and the sensors(receptions, power) are on.
I tried uninstalling my battery and using only AC adapter but still it doesn't work.
Also, I tried uninstalling battery and AC adapter and holding the power button for a minute, and it doesn't work either.
Any idea how to solve it? I'm freaking out here
