Ideas.

So little to the story that I can only offer ideas.

1. Your Norton or antivirus expired. I can't tell you why they do that!

2. http://forums.cnet.com/7723-12546_102-567817/limited-access-local-only-wireless-messages-with-vista/?messageId=5334651 (see the fixit?)

3. http://forums.cnet.com/7723-6122_102-567777/wired-wireless-internet-goes-out-while-playing-game-have-t/?tag=contentBody;threadListing (they appear to have never used canned air before)

4. Use System Restore to when it worked.

5. Be sure the date and time are set.

does this help
Jul 12, 2012 6:30AM PDT

i checked the virus stuff. that doesn't seem to be the problem. I have also tried resetting some stuff that i read in other rooms. By going to the c:// propt. i want to try other things but i can't connect to any interenet cause i dont' have access to a hard line. The system restore is telling me there are no dates to go back to. which is really weird. Im thinking there has to be something blocking it. but i don't know where to look?

How I check the virus stuff.

I can't check what you wrote because of too little detail. Since such is not available I have to write that it's time for a service counter.
